About Us

The Riverside Tailor’s Cottage was our home for eight years and we chose it as we fell in love with the riverside location and the cottage’s character in the loveliest conservation village in the north west, with just the best community spirit. Being surrounded by hills in the Forest of Bowland AONB, with the Yorkshire Dales at a stone’s throw, and a terrific spot for wild swimming, it ticked every box. The friendly village pub, tea-room with delicious cakes and a small village shop-cum-post office help Wray to be a real living village.

The Riverside Tailor’s is our only holiday cottage so it’s my priority to look after the cottage and our guests. We now live just a few minutes away and as my day job is home based I’m on hand if you need me. However, I completely respect your privacy (privacy law is my day job!) and I will leave you to enjoy your stay in peace.
